Realism.  Accuracy.  Detail.  And some different stuff.   Hi, I'm Ron Trujillo, and I bring these things plus a little more to my artwork.  I am a native New Mexican and began drawing as soon as I could lift a pencil - or pretty much anything that would leave an interesting mark!

I graduated from New Mexico Highlands University with Bachelor's in Anthropology and Philosophy, after which I went to work as a Park Ranger.  Not something I ever planned on doing, but on that job is where I met my beautiful wife Diana. 

I've worked in various government jobs from Park Ranger to Medical Clerk to Fire Lookout, and am currently living in Pueblo, Colorado.  Over the past few years I've sold some work here and there, and participated in the El Rito, New Mexico  studio tour each year from 2005 to 2008.

No matter what else I happen to be doing job-wise, my artwork has been a constant passion in my life - it's what I love to do, and what I do best.  Life's too short not to follow your dreams, so after a long hiatus I am now once again doing my artwork full time.
